Petition for Religious Freedom in Vietnam

    Why is the Vietnamese government so threatened by a group of peaceful monastics? It’s hard to comprehend the kind of fearful mindset that would feel the need to persecute spiritual practitioners.

    I would like to suggest that we add to the letter the request that the EU, US and other North American and AEAN members offer these 379 monks and nuns refugee status, now that the Vietnamese government openly wants to exterminate any community that follows the Plum Village tradition.
