The Committee for the Council of Management of the Buddhist Church of Viet Nam have received the application by Venerable Thich Duc Nghi – Abbot of Bat Nha Monastery, Bao Loc Village, Lam Dong Province, dated 04/5/2006 in regards to the permission to conduct a Retreat practicing the teachings of Plum Village of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
After some consideration, the Committee for the Council of Management of the Buddhist Church of Viet Nam have approved the application. Regarding administrative procedures, we recommend that the Abbot of Bat Nha Monastery register the details of the retreat to the relevant functional organizations (local government/authority) to ensure public security according to current laws and regulations.
